Valentine's Day Book Giveaway!!!

Best Blogger Tips
Hello, dear readers!

In celebration of the release of The Jade Notebook on *Valentine's Day* (Tuesday, Feb 14th), I'm doing a book giveaway! You'll have a chance to win a personalized, autographed copy of one of these three books...

All you have to do is make one comment on this blog post with 1) your name and 2) your dream destination (where you'd fly/sail/drive/bike/hike off to if money/time/work/school were no object). (One comment per person, por favorcito. :-)

You can comment from today (Sunday, Feb 12) through Sunday, Feb 19 at midnight (Colorado time).

On Monday, Feb 20, I'll randomly select *three winners* from the U.S., who will each get a signed paperback copy of either The Indigo Notebook or The Ruby Notebook, or a hardcover of The Jade Notebook.

I'll also select an international winner, who will get some signed bookmarks and a valentine handmade by me and my Lil Dude. (Be warned that my own valentine-making skills are at the level of my 5-year-old's, so remember it's the thought that counts here...)

Be sure to check my blog on Monday, Feb 20 to see if you won! If you end up a winner, please email me your mailing address with the subject heading: NOTEBOOKS CONTEST WINNER.

Tell your friends! Good luck! Comment away...

xoxoxoxo,
Laura

P.S. Oh, and if you haven't already, try to swing by Melissa Walker's Cover Stories Blog this week-- I did a guest post on the evolution of the cover look for the Notebooks series. Enjoy!

  5. My dream is to visit Newfoundland, as I simply fell in love with the southern island penisula called *Avalon*. There is such a calming serenity to Newfoundland in general, but this particular part of the Province held the most ideal escape for a brilliant holiday. There is something to be said for being hugged close to the ocean and alighting in a place where everyone does not tend to tread. I love the history and the culture of the people as well. I am drawn to visit and those tend to be the places you feel the most inspired to have gone afterwards.

Highlights would be: Standing on the precipice of where North America begins as this province greets each new day first,
...standing aghast at all the seabirds that flock there per annum (I have a passion for wildlife photography), going to a local pub chattering with the locals, and being as intergrated into the lifestyle they appreciate as much as possible.

  35. Hello Laura,

  36. Congrats! Can't wait to read The Jade Notebook! If I could travel anywhere with no thoughts of my job, I'd go to Australia. I've been dying to go there for years, check out the wonderful beaches, oceans, and just get a view of the other side of the world!

  37. Hi, I'm Lina Tellez.
I would go to... Sicily, Italy. My grandfather on my mother's side is from there, and I feel very... in touch with my Italian side, through food and music, of course. I'd love to just look at the scenery and eat.
But I'd like to go to Mexico, too, because I'm part Mexican as well. I'd want to go to Acuna, partly because there's a small town where my best friend is from, and partly because I've never been to Mexico, despite living not very far away.
But I just want to travel, I think, to Italy, Monte Carlo, Spain, France, even though, before I read your book, I never much wanted to visit France.
All in all, I think I just want to travel in Europe. To find out who I really am, maybe.
Haha, I'm sorry for leaving this essay of an answer, but I am just... IN LOVE with your books; like someone finally wrote the perfect book series for just for me to read. Like, you totally understand me, haha.
But anyways, congradulations on releasing the book, I can't wait to read it!
